Perth, Where is Thy Art?

TVC has banged on a fair bit about the horrendous state of statuary (among other things) and the alienation created by contemptuous elites. The plastic art offered by the otherwise very fair city of Perth, Western Australia, is, unfortunately, no exception.
Consider Walter Pater as to the sculpture of Michelangelo:
“And as his persons have something of the unwrought stone about them, so, as if to realise the expression by which the old Florentine records describe a sculptor – master of live stone – with him the very rocks seem to have life. They have but to cast away the dust and scurf that they may rise and stand on their feet.”*
Contemporary sculpture – what cultural apparatchiks term “spatial practice” – include these public (some private) works we spotted last month in Perth:
“Spanda”
“Blade Walls”
“Four Winds”
“First Contact” “If one could die of mortification and grief, I would no longer be alive.”**
“Ah! glad I am to sleep in stone, while woe and dire disgrace rage unreproved near…”**
“Signature Ring”
“Horizontal Geometries”
It didn’t get any better in Fremantle:
